01 Sep Nice Try… Hunt’s Cider teams up with The Pigsty for a scrummy evening
Fifteen years ago Richard Hunt and Olly Kohn could be found in the line-out at Bristol Rugby Club. Last night they lined up at The Pigsty, Gloucester Road, Bristol. This is where Olly, his two brothers and fellow rugby player Will Collier have set to work to open ‘The Home of The Hog’. Richard and Olly took a fully booked restaurant on a journey from their transition from the pitch to the food and drink industry. Sausages paired with cider, what’s not to like?
‘A brilliant evening of pork and cider’ was one of the comments passed on social media, which was very active due to the bloggers and foodies in the room. This was the first event of it’s kind and Olly is hoping to hold more in the future due to the popularity and success of the night.
