The bottle tops have been popping at Hunt’s Cider as Andsome Bay has been awarded two stars in The Great Taste Awards. Richard Hunt, Head Cider Maker said, ‘this is a great achievement for us all, the product was only developed last year and to add to it’s Taste Of The West Gold Award shows that the hard work has paid off.’ The Great Taste Awards is organised by The Guild Of Fine Foods, and is acknowledged as the benchmark for fine food and drink. It has been described as the Oscars of the food and drink industry
Andsome Bay is also shortlisted for The Stable Cider Awards, one of only six ciders to make the final cut of hundreds of entries, it is up against popular cider makers such as Sheppy’s and Sandford Orchards, can it do it again? We will know more in September, watch this space.
